Multiple Planning Roles – Planner, Senior Planner, Associate Director

CCO Group are thrilled to be partnered with Quod to bring in their new batch of talent into their highly successful Quod North team, based out of Leeds – working across the North of England and beyond. We are looking for at least two new hires, from Planner up to Associate Director.

Quod are a highly successful planning-led consultancy with offices in Leeds and London. A very sociable and collegiate regional and country-wide team, who really put their employees at the heart of their culture and focus. Based Centrally in Leeds, this independent boutique team work closely with London colleagues to service clients to a gold standard across the UK.

The Leeds office is made up of 12 people, including fee earners and support staff. Led by Emma, Tim and Richard – this regional powerhouse of a team is extremely busy, and with a good work-life balance as well as impressive clients and projects – these roles represent excellent opportunities for ambitious and sharp professionals who want to grow and learn more. The business has high expectations for their staff, but in exchange for working hard, you get to work on some of the region’s top projects, and with some of Yorkshire’s finest!

As a business they work with public and private sector clients to give advice and solve problems across the property space from planning to economic development, viability, infrastructure and stakeholder engagement – from major development and urban extensions, to strategic land and promotion advice, to advice on complex urban commercial and regeneration projects.

In terms of client-base and what you will be working on – it is very varied. As a more junior Planner or new Senior Planner, you will be leading on some small to medium-scale projects and assisting Directors with the larger scale and more complex projects, and if you are coming in at Senior, Associate or Associate Director level – you will take a more leading role on project work, your role will be to assist in guiding the team and, delegate to junior colleagues. Your role will involve building upon existing client relationships, growing new business (in the case of senior appointments) and
be (or become) another leading specialist in the Northern market. Clients include SME developers like Duchy Homes, major landowners like Landsec and British Land and a variety of others including iQ Student Accommodation, Home Group, and Leeds Bradford Airport.
